![]() Years have passed since the incident at Raccoon City, and things have changed dramatically. The story should be quite familiar by now. Almost nine years since the release of the original game, Capcom tries to rectify its mistakes and release a proper port with Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition. Though it performed well on the machines that were capable of running it, the console versions were considered far, far superior. Often called the worst of the many versions the game has seen, the port was riddled with terrible-looking graphics, no mouse support, a confusing keyboard layout, and a heavy reliance on a standard control pad at a time when standards for control pads weren't in place yet. ![]() Given a choice to play any of the Resident Evil 4 ports, it would be surprising to see anyone choose the 2007 PC version.
